The resort is situated in a sheltered bay of the North West Region of Mauritius bordered by a historic river. Located on a sandy beach protected by coral reef and surrounded by 8 hectares of lush gardens, this is an ideal choice for those looking to get away from the stresses of everyday life. The capital Port Louis is only a 20 minute drive away and the airport is approximately an hour from resort.

La Plantation has 270 rooms all of which have a balcony where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the gardens, the sea or the Citron River. The coral reef surrounding the lagoon gives safe access for the practice of water sports, discover the abundant species of marine life on a snorkelling tour or experience it from the glass bottom boat. There are plenty of sports on land also including table tennis, bocci ball and aerobic classes. There is a great variety of food available in the resort as well as a choice of bars featuring regular live entertainment.
